step one - how do l post a blog?

I'm not actually sure what l'm doing but l've decided that l would give blogging a try.  It's been on my mind for a while and tonight l signed up.  I'm sure the next few weeks l'll be busy trying to figure out how to change settings or do techy things, but stick with me and lets see where we go with it.
